Not all reviews are created equal. It's easy to trash someone having a bad day or talk up your big advertisiers, but no one wants to be judged soley by our worst moments.

Let's start with your music... after all this is Après LIVE! Most people are listening to their tunes while they ride… and not just in the planes, trains and automobiles on the way to the mountains either. Most shredders have play lists too. Listening to music means earpods, headphones or something… right? Well, we got you covered. Listen up… it's more than music.

Safety - Yep. Safety first. We advocate for keeping One Ear Out… today, hearing is one of the most important safety tools you have. You may not see what's behind you but sometimes you can hear it… and that can be enough to avoid serious accidents and injuries. So always keep One Ear Out.

Performance - If you're like us music matters… from slashing pow to cruising corduroy your jams make great runs epic ones. I have had two pairs of SKULLCANDY earbuds since Après LIVE was established in 2014. And I will get a third if and when the ones I have now retire themselves! Cannot beat them for the price and performance. Set up a playlist and you won't be fidgeting with your music the whole time. All you need is a simple play and pause control so you can go from convo to ready to go in an instant that's a nice feature. Plus keeps your gloves on and hands warm too!

Common Sense - Sometimes you don't want to risk your ridiculously expensive listening devices that could get lost or damaged while you're shredding hard. That's when having a back-up or go to when you hit the hill can be a good idea. That way you're not worried about losing or breaking them. Sometimes having a basic hardwired set of ear buds is the way to go. Plugging them in is like having a leash if an earbud should pop loose in the bumps, the pow or on the chairlift… ever try looking for a white earpod in a foot of snow? Get the idea.

Cost - If these are your shredding or back-up listening devices they need to do the job. Durable and affordable. That's what SKULLCANDY has been delivering for our team since the word go.
